Photoshop - 2 Hour Session
First Draft Ancillary Photos
In this lesson, I downloaded all of my photographs off of the Nikon camera and uploaded them onto the shared Media Drive on my computer. I then selected which photographs I was going to use for my digipak and my magazine advertisement, and uploaded each one into the photoshop software. I adjusted the colour slightly on each one to create a more vintage, grey-scale effect which Liberation Music often use in their artist's music videos. This aesthetic also gives the photos a more mysterious appearance, which I think works well for the artist we have chosen as they're quite niche. In this 2 hour session I managed to completely edit my digipak photos together, and arrange them into the correct sequence on Publisher.

Photography - Attenborough Nature Reserve
Photography - Thursday 13th October
Izzy, Tom and I headed to Attenborough Nature Reserve this morning to take my Digipak and Magazine Advertisement photos for my first draft, and decided that this location would create a nice background aesthetic for my photography and create a mysterious theme to the photos, which represents the band quite well in my opinion. We managed to take all my photos quickly and efficiently within approximately an hour, and then we headed back to college to imported all the photographs onto my account.

Music Video - First Draft
The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition
Editing - Friday 7th October
Inset Day - 4 Hour Session
Izzy and I have chosen to come into college on the inset day today, and began editing at 9am this morning. In this 4 hour session we have finished importing all the performance footage, and have completed cutting it down to use specific lyrics throughout the video where we are missing footage that matches the song, or where we think a performance shot looks more effective than the footage in that certain position. This took a while as we has to make sure the performance lip-synced with the song lyrics perfectly, which was more difficult than we initially thought it would be.
Due to this, we then had to switch around some of the initial clips to fit in the performance, however by the end of the 4 hours we had completely finished editing our first draft, and it is now available on YouTube.

Editing - Thursday 6th October
2 Hour Session
In this two hour session, Izzy and I continued to cut down our footage and select the best parts of each clip to use for our music video. We have also arranged all the footage into the correct sequence, with a mix of highfields, Hockley, Toton and house shots to make the video flow nicely. We still haven't finished editing the shots completely.
We also filmed Izzy's performance shots in this 2 hour session, and chose to shoot close-up and mid shots against a black background in the media studio. We then imported the performance footage into the editing software, and will continue to edit this tomorrow on the inset day.

Editing - Friday 30th September
1 Hour Session
Izzy and I imported all our camera footage onto the computer in this 1 hour session, and then imported all of the acceptable clips into the Adobe Premiere Pro editing software. We began to cut down the first initial clips and arrange them into a logical sequence, however we didn't get very far with this.

Filming - Toton Sidings and Izzy's House
Filming - Tuesday 4th October
On this day, Izzy, Tom and I returned to the Toton Sidings to refilm the couple shots of the two characters meeting as our original shots were slightly out of focus and Izzy was wearing the wrong costume. We then filmed some shots in Izzy's kitchen and living room, of the two characters arguing and playing the guitar together. We managed to film all the necessary shots quickly and efficiently.

Filming - Highfields Boating Lake
Filming - Thursday 29th September
Izzy and I booked the Nikon D3100 and the tripod again for this day to film the couple shots in the rowing boats at Highfields Boating Lake. I filmed Tom rowing the boat out into the middle of the lake, and then filmed various close-up shots of Izzy. I also attempted to film some location shots, with pans and tilts of the landscape, however they may be slighlty unsteady as the boat wasn't completely stable.

Filming - Hockley
Filming - Wednesday 28th September
On this day Izzy, Tom and I headed into town on the tram early in the morning to begin filming the middle segments of our music video, where the two characters are featured on dates. We filmed in Hockley throughout the day and managed to collect all the shots we needed within three hours. As we then had some time on our hands, we headed back to Toton sidings to film Tom's individual shots, and the shot where the two characters meet.

Filming - Toton Sidings
Filming - Tuesday 27th September
Izzy and I booked the Nikon D3100 out for Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning to film our first few shots of the music video. On this day, Izzy and I decided to film the first initial section of the music video, where the female actress is introduced. We managed to film all the single shots of the female actress at the Toton fields and sidings, and we plan to continue filming the female actress tomorrow with our male actor in town, around Hockley and in various shops.
